The Challenge Cup Pocono IndyCar, multi-purpose event to promote the Series is fast approaching! The weekend will allow seat time for drivers new or old to Formula Vee racing and as a bonus also includes IndyCar race weekend spectator passes for all entrants.
The event will start off Thursday August 15th, 2019 when many of the Challenge Cup team and drivers will load in to the famed Pocono Raceway. Many of the regular Challenge Cup drivers will be loaning their prized vehicles to those interested in getting behind the wheel. It is sure to be an exciting exhibition weekend for fans, drivers and supporters of the Challenge Cup Series.
The Pocono IndyCar event will feature road course racing Friday and Saturday, sponsors and crew members can experience Formula Vees during a lead and follow session, no license required. The event will also feature an open sessions for experienced drivers and Sunday parade laps on the tri oval before IndyCar race. The fee for the event is $250, this includes four grandstand tickets and four pit passes plus a Friday night dinner with live band and great company. The 2018 Challenge Cup IndyCar Pocono event was considered to be both a success from the entrant’s perspective and also from a promotional point of view for the Series. We look forward to another memorable weekend at the racetrack August 15-18, 2019.
