The Challenge Cup Series is excited to kick off the 2017 season at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The famed 2.6-mile track is an ideal location for the tightly packed formula car racing series.
Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Mosport) located in Bowmanville, ON is famous for its close and nail-biting races especially when the Challenge Cup Series is in the mix. With the Masters Class and Overall Series classes returning for 2017 be sure to preview our two exciting divisions.
CCS will be welcoming our first International Guests this weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Murillo Grandino Latorre and Gabriel Silva have made the long trip from Brazil to compete in our season opener. Wish them luck and watch our site for updated throughout the weekend. We have 25 cars set to take the track for the start of this exciting season.
Two-time Challenge Cup Series champions Matt Garwood and Dean Curtis (Masters Division) will be on hand to participate in the annual Canadian event. Drivers from both sides of the border look to claim the top step of the podium while setting their sights on the 2017 Challenge Cup Series Championship.
The competition will be close this year while the drivers are on the edge of their seats contesting the fast ten turned track formally known as Mosport.
