The 2017 Challenge Cup Series wrapped up their final round with two winners – the Masters Champion came from the U.S and the Overall Champion from Brazil. The season was filled with many close finishes, wheel-to-wheel action, and, most say, the best races of the weekend.
“The 2018 season is shaping up to be one of the most successful Challenge Cup Series seasons to date. Our membership has grown substantially over the years and we are ready to welcome a host of new drivers to the series this year”, said Challenge Cup Series Social Media Coordinator Matt Garwood.
A significant amount of time and effort has been put into this series, on both sides of the border, to make the Challenge Cup Series a reality. The five race weekend season features Formula Vee open-wheeled racecars competing at premier road courses within the United States and Canada. In 2018 we have added a stop at the beautiful Summit Point Raceway for the first time in the series history. Stay tuned for an exciting season ahead.
